Leadership, vision, and excellence in execution are fundamental to rebuilding a great downtown. The DFWI Trailblazer Award recognizes Downtown leadership, vision, outstanding commitment, development, and redevelopment excellence.

The Trailblazer Awards are presented at DFWI’s Annual Meeting to recognize remarkable Downtown contributions, thank those involved, and share these stories with our members, community leaders, and others they will inspire. This award program is part of an ongoing effort to reinforce and recognize the Downtown Fort Worth culture of excellence in planning, execution, vision, and leadership.

DFWI Trailblazer Award winners are Downtown renaissance standard bearers, and DFWI salutes those who have made such remarkable contributions to the rebirth of center city Fort Worth.

The DFWI Trailblazer award is a bronze work created by Texas artist Covelle Jones for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc.
