Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. (DFWI), is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership organization dedicated to being the catalyst for transforming Downtown into a vibrant place to live, visit enjoy, and conduct business through an aggressive leadership of programs, projects, and partnerships.

Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. (DFWII), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that provides a pathway for foundation grants, philanthropic donations, and other contributions to help fund charitable, educational, and public-purpose Downtown projects.

Heritage & Paddock Parks

A transformative project reconnecting Downtown to the Trinity River. The restored Heritage Park Plaza and reimagined Paddock Park will create vibrant new public spaces, improve walkability around the Courthouse, activate the Bluff, and celebrate Fort Worth’s history, all while completing the long-awaited northern gateway to Downtown.

The Downtown Ambassadors are the friendly faces keeping Downtown Fort Worth welcoming, clean, and connected. From offering directions and assisting visitors to supporting public safety and maintaining our streetscapes, these everyday heroes help ensure Downtown feels vibrant and inviting. Whether they’re sweeping sidewalks, lending a hand, or providing a warm welcome to residents and guests, the Ambassadors are dedicated to enhancing the Downtown experience for everyone.

Our Projects & Services

T&P Passage Project

The T&P Passage project improves the vital link between Downtown and the TEXRail and TRE platforms at the southern terminal. Enhancements include bold streetside signage, an illuminated plaza and walkway, clear wayfinding, public art, and historic displays. These features elevate the first and last impressions of Fort Worth for commuters, visitors, and travelers, emphasizing the city’s vibrancy, hospitality, and heritage.
