YMCA feeding kids while schools are closed

In partnership with local vendors, the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is providing grab-and-go meals to students while schools are closed due to COVID-19.

Food will be distributed from 4-6 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday only. Pickup on Monday will be for two days (Monday and Tuesday) and pickup on Wednesday will be for three days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

Here are the locations:
Airport Area YMCA, 3524 Central Drive, Bedford.
Amon G. Carter, Jr. Downtown YMCA, 512 Lamar St., Fort Worth.
Benbrook Community Center YMCA, 1899 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Eastside YMCA, 1500 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth.
Hood County YMCA, 1475 James Road, Granbury.
Joshua Community YMCA, 1009 Joshua Station Blvd, Joshua.
William M. McDonald YMCA, 2701 Moresby St., Fort Worth.
YMCA Sports Complex, 4320 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth.

Locations in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw-ISD will continue to operate Monday-Friday from 4-6 p.m.:
Elkins Elementary School, 7250 School Road, Fort Worth.
Remington Point Elementary School, 6000 Old Decatur Road, Fort Worth.
