XTO Energy Builds 5th Annual Trinity Habitat For Humanity Home At Sundance Square
September 11,2013
XTO Energy and the Trinity Habitat for Humanity have kicked off the 5th annual Trinity Habitat for Humanity home build in Sundance Square (Gateway Parking Lot). The build will take place from September 11 to 16, when the home will be moved to its new location.
The home is built for the family of Rachel Salazar, a single mother of three, who is currently living in cramped conditions with a family member.
More than 200 XTO employees and family members will be working on the home, with volunteers taking turns in two shifts for five days - completing the framing, siding, windows and door installation on the home.
"My family is so excited and grateful for Habitat for Humanity. This home will give my children stability and I can be proud of my accomplishment, providing a home for my family," said Salazar.
