Veteran Journalist Bob Schieffer To Speak At Central Library Downtown - Nov. 15, 2013

In honor of the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s historic visit to Fort Worth, the Central Library Downtown is hosting "An Evening with Bob Schieffer: Remembering John F. Kennedy," a free public program that will take place on November 15, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. CBS 11 News anchor Tracy Kornet will interview the veteran journalist and host of Face the Nation Bob Schieffer about the day the president was assassinated and how the tragedy affected history. Special guests will include U.S. Rep. Kay Granger, former U.S. House Speaker Jim Wright and Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price.
