Trail Rreroute This Weekend
October 16,2013
Beginning October 18 a trail reroute will be in place on the north side of the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion. This reroute is identical to what was in place for the last event. The big change will be that the pedestrian bridge connecting the north side of the river to Downtown will remain open to trail users. Please note that during the event (Saturday from 1pm-11pm) all cyclists will be required to dismount and walk their bikes through the area noted with a solid yellow line on the map below. We ask that cyclists use extra caution at all other times as crews will be in the area for set up and tear down all weekend. Trail access along the south side of the river at Panther Island Pavilion will remain continuous (keep in mind the ongoing closures near 7th Street for bridge construction). Signs will be posted alerting users how to use the reroute. The reroute on the north side of the river will end on Sunday, October 20th at 5 pm (weather permitting). But as a reminder, under no circumstances will pedestrian bridge access be closed to trail users.
For those interested in arriving at Ranch Bash using the trails, there will be event access and bike racks on the north and south sides of the river.
