Tour de Fort Worth To Roll Out June 29, 2013

Join Mayor Betsy Price this summer on a 23-day tour of Fort Worth neighborhoods.

Starting on June 29, the Tour de Fort Worth will celebrate the Tour de France, giving seasoned cyclists a chance to experience different parts of the city from the best seat around — a bicycle seat.

The series rolls out at 8 a.m. at the Police and Fire Memorial in Trinity Park. The rides will run for 23 consecutive days (two rest days included), ending with a final ride celebration at Central Market, 4651 West Freeway, at 7:30 a.m. July 21.

There will be two pace groups at each ride: 13-16 mph and 17-plus mph.
