The T to Hold Public Hearing Feb. 10 On Proposed Express Bus Route To New Park & Ride Off Of North I-35W

FORT WORTH (January 23, 2014) – The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) invites public involvement regarding a proposed new express bus route between a new North Park and Ride lot and Downtown Fort Worth at a public hearing on Feb. 10 at noon at the Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) 1001 Jones St. 76102. Prior to the public hearing, The T will host two public informational meetings on Jan. 28 to explain the proposed new route, the new North Park and Ride facility and to answer questions.
The T’s new North Park and Ride facility will be along the south bound service road of I-35W between Golden Triangle Blvd. and Heritage Trace Parkway.
Two Public Informational Meetings to Learn More on January 28:
Tuesday, January 28, from Noon to 1 p.m. at the Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC), 1001 Jones St., Fort Worth, TX 76102.
Tuesday, January 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Church of Christ, 4201 Heritage Trace Parkway, Fort Worth TX 76266.

Public Hearing on February 10:
Monday, February 10, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the ITC, 1001 Jones St., Fort Worth, TX 76102.

The T will make presentations, answer questions and take comments from the public at two pre-hearing meetings and at the official public hearing. A site and route map and more details may be viewed at: www.the-t.com.

Attendance is not required at the meetings to provide input or comments.
