The T to conduct public meetings to solicit ideas on the future of transit
April 13,2015
WHAT
The T will conduct six public meetings at five different locations in and near the Fort Worth area for The T’s Transit Master Plan. Exhibits will be available to show current trends and future needs related to transportation. Activity stations will provide several ways to share ideas about transit. Discussions are expected to take place about how transit can best serve Tarrant County and beyond in the near-term and in the future.
WHY
The T Master Plan will include a review of current service, identification of opportunities to expand transit service to meet the growing needs of the region, and determine what resources could be allocated to pursue those opportunities. Input from the public is key to determining how transit is used and what could be done to encourage transit ridership.
