The T’s Public Hearing Feb. 10 On New Express Bus To North I-35W

Public may provide comments at Public Hearing or submit them to The T by Feb. 11.
WHAT: The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) invites public involvement and comments on a proposed new express bus route between a new North Park and Ride facility off of North I-35W and downtown Fort Worth at a public hearing on Monday, Feb. 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) 1001 Jones St. 76102.
The meeting will include a presentation by The T’s Planning Department and the opportunity for the public to make comments or submit them in writing. The North Park and Ride will be along the western side of I-35 W between Golden Triangle Blvd. and Heritage Trace Parkway with proposed non-stop bus service to and from downtown. More details about the proposed express bus service, the new North Park & Ride, and a route map are on The T’s website at www.the-t.com.
WHEN: Monday, February 10 from noon to 1 p.m.
WHERE: Community Room, 2nd floor of The T’s downtown Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) at 1001 Jones St. Fort Worth 76102.
OTHER WAYS TO COMMENT: Citizens do not have to attend the public hearing to make comments. They may also submit comments by calling The T’s hotline at 817-215-8793 or sending an email to tweb@the-t.com. Comments must be submitted by midnight Feb. 11.
WHY: Public input will be among factors considered by The T in deciding whether or not to add the new express route, hours of operation, frequency and related factors.
