The Fort Worth Club Wins In Tulsa

The Fort Worth Club won the best of the best in the commercial real estate industry during the TOBY Awards Reception and Banquet at the 2015 Southwest Regional Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, April 11.

The Fort Worth Club management team consists of Walter Littlejohn, General Manager; Cindy Susi, Director of Tenant Relations; and David Roman, Chief Engineer & Operations Manager along with 140 staff members who assist in the daily operations of The Fort Worth Club.

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, just blocks from historic Sundance Square, The Fort Worth Club is easily accessible from all major highways in the Fort Worth area. Built in 1926, the 12-story Club building was designed by Sanguinet, Staats, & Hedrick. The building is unique in that it has a rectangular, two-story base with a four-story transitional section above, then becomes U-shaped above the sixth floor. In 1976, a 14-story addition was constructed on the half-block site to the west, housing seven floors of parking and additional tenant space. This addition is known as the Tower Building. The fourteen story high structure which is one block long and one and one-half blocks wide totals 362,700 square feet.

The Outstanding Building of the Year "TOBY" Award was created in 1985 to salute excellence in the office building industry. The first TOBY competition consisted of 23 regional entries in four categories. Now thirty years later, more than 1,300 buildings have been honored as regional winners and more than 200 as international winners.
