Texas’ Biggest Comic Strip is in Downtown Fort Worth
May 29,2012
By now, you’ve probably heard that Sundance Square is about to begin construction of three new buildings and a public plaza on Main Street between 3rd and 4th Streets. But you may not know that a new attraction is already on display.
Construction fences were creatively covered up with what is now the Biggest Comic Strip in Texas. The cartoon features 36 panels, each measuring 16 feet wide and 7 feet tall, for a total of 4,032 square feet of clever construction screening. The story takes place in two time periods: in 1900 where The Sundance Kid and his gang roamed the streets of Fort Worth freely, and present day, in which Sundance finds himself after an otherworldly mishap.
Be sure to see this before construction is complete and the temporary walls come down. To see plans for the space, click here.
