Fort Worth’s first responder stair climb, Climb for a Calling, is a tribute to the sacrifices of fallen heroes. Fulfilling a promise to never forget their brothers and sisters who have died in the line of duty, participants will climb honoring the fallen at 8 a.m. Sept. 8.
The climb will be no easy feat. At 40 stories high and 567 feet tall, Burnett Plaza is the tallest building in Fort Worth. Burnett Plaza is at 800 Cherry St.
The climb consists of two and a half laps, representing the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Registration information can be found on their website.
Medical teams and water stations will be staged throughout the climb to ensure a safe experience for all.
