Spooky Bike Ride And Halloween Costume Contest

Bring on your bike and your best costume to the Mayor’s Spooky Bike Ride!
WHAT:
Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price will close out the 2013 Rolling Town Hall series with the second annual Spooky Bike Ride and Halloween Costume Contest. The event will feature a bike ride from T&P Tavern to Pioneer’s Rest Cemetery for a surprise visit from some of Fort Worth’s most memorable figures.

The Spooky Bike Ride is approximately 4 miles total. For a map of the ride’s route, click here. Residents are encouraged to grab their bikes and dress in their favorite Halloween costumes. After the cemetery tour, riders will head back to T&P Tavern with a parade run around Downtown Fort Worth. T&P Tavern will serve food and drinks, and attendees will enjoy a Halloween party and costume contest.
Thanks to Radio Shack, iPod Shuffles will be up for grabs for the Best Adult Costume and Best Kid Costume. The bike ride and costume contest are family-friendly, and children who are comfortable on a bike are welcome to join.
The ride will start from T&P Tavern at 6 p.m. Attendees who cannot ride along can meet the group at Pioneer’s Rest around 6:20 p.m. or meet at the party at T&P Tavern around 7 p.m. For a link to the Facebook event, click here.
