Snowball Express Walk of Gratitude 2014

December 8,2014

Reposted from NBC 5

Join NBC 5 at the Snowball Express Walk of Gratitude and help welcome nearly 1,800 children and surviving spouses of our fallen military heroes on Saturday, December 13, at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Fort Worth. Bring a sign, your family and friends and let's show these families our appreciation.

Since 2006, the mission of Snowball Express has been to provide hope and new, happy memories to the children of military fallen heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. They bring children together from all over the world for a four-day experience filled with fun activities including sporting events, dances, amusement parks and more. Parents of children of the fallen often state that their child is reserved, withdrawn or unwilling to talk about their loss. Participating in Snowball Express makes each child feel special, giving them an opportunity to share their feelings about losing their parent.
