Seeking help? New one-stop database lists organizations ready to offer support

March 27,2020

Reposted from FortWorthTexas.gov

Fort Worth residents seeking assistance during the COVID-19 outbreak have a valuable new resource: an online database listing agencies and organizations that are willing to lend a hand.

The database, maintained by the city’s Community Engagement Office, provides contact information for a variety of groups. Some are faith-based, while others are area agencies whose mission is helping others.

The scope of assistance available varies, from meals for senior citizens, to last-resort financial assistance for children, to free dog and cat food.

The database will be updated as new assistance resources become known.
