Rotary Park Groundbreaking

The Rotary Club of Fort Worth invites their fellow Rotarians on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11 am to the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Rotary Park. The park will be located in Trinity Park on the west side of Fort Worth's Downtown. Specifically, the park will lie on the east end of the Phyllis Tilley Memorial Bridge, a pedestrian bridge.
The new Rotary Park will have 13 car parking lot (which incorporates concrete paving and permeable pavers), trail connection to existing trails along the Trinity River, restrooms, a public gathering area with a seating wall that will feature a Rotary Wheel design, a shade pavilion with picnic tables, drinking fountain, benches, bike racks and the permanent placement of the original 1916 Rotary Monument in the center of the Rotary Wheel design.
