Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Come celebrate Red Cross Month at the inaugural Red Cross B*A*S*H, March 1 at Panther Island Pavilion! 

Join us from 2-6PM for some live music from Mike and the Moonpies, food trucks, and a nostalgic WWII theme, all supporting the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces.
