Reata, the Fort Worth restaurant known for its downtown rooftop seating and Western atmosphere, opened its new temporary location Monday.

The new location is just blocks away from Reata's longtime home in Sundance Square. The space was renovated to give the space Reata's signature Southwestern flare. The space used to be home to Cantina Laredo, which closed in 2020

The restaurant opened up for dinner service at 5 p.m. Monday, July 22. Tuesday, it will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and open up for dinner again at 5 p.m.

Here's a look inside the new dining room, bar and patio:

Reata left its original location on June 30 after the restaurant was not able to renew its lease for the Houston Street location in Sundance Square, Mike Micallef, president of Reata previously told WFAA. The temporary location will be a "stepping stone before a more permanent flagship home is constructed," Micallef previously said.
