Jimmy Buffett concert at Coyote Drive-In will be broadcast to drive-ins across the country

PANTHER ISLAND, FORT WORTH, TX – We are proud to announce that a one-of-a-kind event is coming to Panther Island. On Thursday, June 19 Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band will perform at Coyote Drive-In. This is the first time Jimmy Buffett has ever played in Fort Worth! The concert will be broadcast live to drive-ins across the country bringing a great amount of exposure to Fort Worth.

In their opening year, Coyote Drive-In brought over 250,000 people to Panther Island and in 2014 the momentum is continuing to grow. “Coyote Drive-In has been a huge success for the project at large,” said Trinity River Vision Authority Executive Director, JD Granger. “It has increased awareness of our project and created a unique entertainment option that you can only find on Panther Island,” he said.

This concert is the latest addition to several new announcements made in recent months regarding Panther Island. These additions include: Panther Island Brewing, Sunday Funday event series at Panther Island Pavilion and the Fort Worth Vaqueros coming to LaGrave Field. Stay tuned, much more to come!
