Panther Island Ice Hours Expanded Due To Unseasonably Nice Weather Through Dec. 22

Panther Island Ice will open early this week to accommodate visitors taking advantage of warm temps.

Starting today, Panther Island Ice will open at 3:00pm so people can bring their kids straight from school and take advantage of the beautiful weather we will have this week. We all know how much energy kids have the week before winter break and Panther Island Ice is a great place to burn off some steam. Then starting next Monday, December 23rd we will switch to winter break hours and operate from 11:00am-11:00pm seven days a week until the rink closes on January 5th.

Panther Island Ice is Fort Worth’s FIRST outdoor ice skating rink. Complete with real ice, Panther Island Ice offers public skating, Santa Claus appearances, seasonal music and fun for all ages. Come out this season and make ice skating a new holiday tradition!

Panther Island Ice is Fort Worth’s first outdoor ice skating rink. It’s located at Coyote Drive-In and has the Downtown skyline as a picturesque backdrop. Admission is $10 and includes skate rentals. While the ice rink is separate from the drive-in and a ticket to Coyote is not necessary to skate, Panther Island Ice patrons can still utilize the ample parking along with other Coyote amenities such as restrooms and the popular refreshments from the Coyote Canteen.
