New Brewery Opening on Panther Island This Summer

Panther Island Brewing set to become the latest addition to the developing district

FORT WORTH, TX – We are pleased to announce Panther Island’s newest business venture and Fort Worth’s new favorite summer past time. Three years in the making, Panther Island Brewing leased a building on the southern edge of Panther Island at 501 N. Main St. They have been hard at work prepping the building since November 2013 and are almost ready to open their doors to the public.

“Panther Island Brewing is exactly the type of business we want on Panther Island,” said Trinity River Vision Authority Executive Director, J.D. Granger. “We want businesses that create a special culture, identity and excitement for the district. The whole craft beer culture is so lively we think it is a perfect fit for what we are creating,” he said.

Panther Island Brewing will also be the partner for a NEW weekly “Sunday Funday” summer series at Panther Island Pavilion. Sunday Funday will be a unique, laid back event that takes place every Sunday from 1-6pm on the banks of the Trinity River. It will feature tubing, food trucks, music, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and stand up paddle. Panther Island Brewing will be the exclusive beer vendor and will serve several of their beers on site.

“Panther Island represents what we’re all about: Great times, great music and great people,” said Panther Island Brewing co-owner Michael Harper. “We’re stoked to be a part of this new neighborhood and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy our beers and a fantastic view of the Fort Worth skyline in our historic building,” he said.
