Nancy Lee Bass Honored by FUMC

Today would have been the 96th birthday of Fort Worth icon Nancy Lee Bass, who died March 1 one week shy of her birthday.  At noon, First United Methodist Church - Fort Worth, Texas will honor her by tolling their bells 96 times.  Mrs. Bass had been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1925.  In 1993 gift she and her husband, Perry, gave the beautiful bells that hang in the church’s east tower.  Mrs. Bass, thank you for your amazing contribution to Downtown Fort Worth and our surrounding community.  Today we honor you.   See the full story here.
