Lightscape + Parade of Lights illuminate Fort Worth

Temperatures dropped this week, which means it’s finally time to get in the holiday spirit. There are two events happening in town this weekend that are sure to get you in a a festive mood: Lightscape and the Parade of Lights.
Experience the sparkle of Lightscape
For the third consecutive year, the Fort Worth Botanical Garden presents Lightscape. This internationally acclaimed event opens Friday, Nov. 22 and runs through Sunday, Jan. 5 + tickets start at $12.
This year, Lightscape will feature an even longer illuminated walking trail, 20+ new installations, and over 1 million twinkling holiday lights, making this year’s Lightscape the biggest and brightest yet. Don’t stray too far — Fort Worth is the only Texas city hosting Lightscape this year.
On-site parking must be purchased in advance.
Join Santa Claus at the Parade of Lights
Head to downtown Fort Worth to experience the largest illuminated holiday parade in Texas. The parade starts Sunday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. on the corner of Houston and Weatherford Streets. Purchase reserved street seats starting at $15. The kids will want to be there for this one — the Texas Rangers will serve as Grand Marshals + Santa is closing the parade in a grand finale. must be purchased in advance
