Use your power to make change a reality. Participate in Earth Hour this year.

Join hundreds of millions of people in 7,000 cities on seven continents in observance of Earth Hour 2014. The City of Fort Worth adopted a resolution that encourages local residents, businesses and institutions to join us by switching your lights off for an hour from 8:30-9:30 p.m. CDT on March 29.

At its simplest, turning off all nonessential and architectural lights for just one hour acknowledges and celebrates your commitment to do something more for the planet that goes beyond the hour.

But you can make Earth Hour much more than a one-hour event. Earth Hour sponsor WWF has recruited Spiderman to be its superhero ambassador to raise support and money for projects across the world. Your family, your block or your neighborhood can join the hour with Spiderman to back projects, adopt causes or start a new project and tell your story.
