JLL announced Aug. 21 the firm has been selected to market and sell Tarrant County College’s May Owen Center located in downtown Fort Worth.
JLL Fort Worth Market lead Todd Burnette and Vice President David Berzina are leading the effort.
The center consists of a two-story office building at 1500 Houston Street with 42,400 square feet of office space and 1.36 acres, and 1400 Throckmorton Street which consists of 0.56 acres.
“Activity and investor interest in downtown Fort Worth commercial real estate is the highest it’s been in years,” said Burnette. “The tremendous opportunity these properties offer as the largest tracts available today should generate national interest from hospitality and multi-family developers. We anticipate the proximity to the Fort Worth Medical District will positively impact the marketability.”
On Aug. 13, JLL announced it was marketing six acres of undeveloped land owned by TCC near the Northeast campus.
Both of the land sales were approved at the TCC Board of Trustees meeting on July 16.
