JFK Tribute – We’re Almost There

Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. is proud to announce that we have nearly reached our fundraising goal for the JFK Tribute, which will be located in General Worth Square. After initially having met our goal of $1.5 million for design, construction and long-term maintenance of the tribute site, our construction bids came back nearly $300,000 higher than expected.
Today, we are within $96,000 of reaching the new goal. Fundraising continues as plans for the JFK tribute continue to move forward. To have the project completely finished in time for the 50th Anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s visit to Fort Worth in 2013, we still need your help in raising the remaining $100,000.
