FORT WORTH -- Bad weather affected the start time, pushing the tree lighting to 5:45 p.m., but didn't stop holiday cheer from spreading at Sundance Square Saturday night.
Hundreds gathered for the annual celebration in downtown Fort Worth.
News 8 chief meteorologist Pete Delkus was on hand with Santa to put on the festivities. Santa will be back for pictures on a sunny Sunday.
Dallas postponed its tree lighting because of the rain, but will hold the event Sunday at 6 p.m. Holiday festivities, scheduled to take place at both Main Street Garden and Pegasus Plaza will go from 3-8 p.m.
