Hemphill Street Connector Project - IH-30 Closed April 23

Oncor Electric Delivery Company will close Interstate Highway 30 from 12:00 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23 in order to relocate the existing overhead electric lines crossing Interstate Highway 30 for the Hemphill Connector Project. There will be 4 closures of approximately 15 minutes each to remove the power lines. Closures are anticipated to occur once every hour. IH-30 entrance ramps will be temporarily closed at 8th Avenue/Summit Avenue, Henderson Street/SH-199, southbound IH-35W to westbound IH-30, and northbound IH-35W to westbound IH-30.

Motorists should observe warning signs and follow instructions from police officers directing traffic, and seek alternate routes including Interstate Highway 820 to the north and Interstate Highway 20 to the south.
