Fort Worth Wins Grant To Expand Trinity Trails Closer To Downtown

The Star-Telegram's Scott Nishimura reports that the city has won a $2.1 million federal grant to expand Trinity Trails to downtown from the West Rosedale Street bridge at the foot of the Mistletoe Heights neighborhood along the east side of the river. The city will match the money with $431,000 from 2004 city bond funds, said Richard Zavala, Fort Worth’s parks director.
