For the Love of Cities! DFWI Summer Luncheon Recap

Downtown Fort Worth, Inc’s summer luncheon was held in the McDavid studio and featured Peter Kageyama, author of For the Love of Cities.

Kageyama’s remarks highlighted the way people who are actively engaged in the life of their towns find fresh ways to express their love for the city.  These fun, sometimes whimsical or artistic approaches to expressing themselves are a form of bottom up, unofficial programming, creating spontaneous moments of whimsy and intrigue rarely seen in the suburbs.  Kagayama advocated for giving these expressions of love and engagement room to breathe, adding to the rich fabric of city life for everyone.
