Final Rockin’ The River Concert To End The Season With A Bang

July 31,2013

Final Rockin’ the River Concert to End the Season with a Bang

Last show of the 2013 season will feature a free performance from Johnny Cooper and Fireworks

Johnny Cooper will be closing out the record setting 2013 Rockin’ the River Summer Tubing and Music Series next Thursday (8/8) at Panther Island Pavilion followed by a free fireworks show. The fireworks will be set to music and produced by the same company who brought us Fort Worth’s Fourth, Extreme Pyrotechnics.  The show will feature many of the special effects that wowed thousands at Fort Worth’s Fourth, including Extreme Pyrotechnics’ signature “fire bomb” explosion at the end of the show.

The gates open at 4:30pm and patrons can bring a blanket and chairs or enjoy front row seats from the comfort of a tube. At 6:30pm Johnny Cooper will kick off on the only waterfront stage in Texas. At 8:30pm Luke Wade & No Civilians will play on the newest addition to Panther Island Pavilion, the beach stage, and then the festivities end at dark with the fireworks show.

Rockin’ the River is presented by Coors Distributing Company of Fort Worth and generously sponsored by 95.9 The Ranch, Magnolia Motor Lounge, North Texas Marine, DFW.com, Backwoods Fort Worth, Blu Premium Drinks, Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. and produced by the Trinity River Vision Authority.
