Expedited Plan Review Team continues to move the city forward

Fort Worth’s Expedited Plan Review Team continues to serve residents and businesses remotely during the COVID 19 crisis.

The team, also known as the X-Team, is a group of staff members dedicated solely to accelerating the development process for customers. The Development Services Department started the team in January 2019 to give customers a faster option during plan review, and the team has successfully fast-tracked building plan reviews for businesses such as restaurants, multifamily buildings, medical offices and warehouses.

“In today’s trying times, you always have a point of contact with the X-Team. The X Team provides expedited plan review for building permits, but we can also help you maneuver more efficiently through the building permit process,” said Ann Nace, development project coordinator.
