ESPN Coverage in Fort Worth

Last week Sundance Square was the backdrop for ESPN and its coverage of the first College Football Championship game that was held at AT&T stadium featuring the University of Oregon vs. Ohio State University. Fans gathered in the Square to watch such ESPN staples as Sports Center and Gameday hoping to see their favorite sports personality and maybe be included in the background TV shots behind the set.

Mike Greenburg and Mike Golic of ESPN Radio and the “Mike and Mike” morning show were also in town and did their show from Sundance from Wednesday to Monday and were a huge hit with the fans.

We caught up with them after their show on Friday morning and had a chance to get their thoughts on the upcoming championship game and also their experience in Fort Worth. We did have to wait until they were finished interviewing, Urban Meyer, Dirk Nowitski, Jerry Jones, and Mark Cuban. What’s up with that?

Mike and Mike were fantastic, though, and it was a pleasure talking to them. They are true professionals and couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. That goes for their crew, as well. We are fans for life. Thanks, Mike and Mike!
