Now there is even another reason to visit downtown Cowtown. The Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown hotel is approaching the one-year anniversary of its comprehensive makeover.

The $50 million worth of renovations, which began in August of 2022, were completed in May of 2024. The transformation spans the entire hotel, introducing modern design, enhanced amenities and innovative, flexible spaces that reflect the new Sheraton vision.

“The staff are excited to welcome guests and showcase the revitalized experiences the hotel has to offer,” said Sheraton’s Director of Sales and Marketing Courtney Towson.

The hotel offers a range of elevated amenities meticulously designed to enhance the guest experience with modern comfort and convenience. The brand new restaurant concept, West + Stone, is a refined, yet inviting American dining destination located within the hotel property, allowing guests to immerse themselves in a sophisticated atmosphere while enjoying exceptional cuisine at any time of day.

&More by Sheraton, the hotel’s lobby bar, is the heart of its public space, offering a fresh take on the traditional food and beverage experience. Designed as an all-day gathering place, &More creates a connection for guests — whether they are arriving, meeting with colleagues or simply unwinding in a welcoming social setting.

Both the studio and public area technological capabilities are thoughtfully designed for productivity and private gatherings. These beautifully curated spaces offer built-in technology for effortless collaboration, which can be discreetly integrated or hidden to allow for flexible use throughout the day.

The studios are available by the hour or as an exclusive guest benefit.

Located on the 10th floor, the Sheraton Club Lounge offers elite guests a warm and welcoming retreat with complimentary food and beverages in a refined setting.

The hotel is situated between two of Fort Worth’s most vibrant districts – Downtown/Sundance Square and Near Southside – putting the city’s best attractions within easy reach, such as:

*Sundance Square and its lively, pedestrian-friendly downtown district known for diverse shopping, dining and entertainment options that range from western-wear boutiques and famous steakhouses to sports bars and live performances at Bass Performance Hall.

Also, just steps away, the Fort Worth Water Gardens is a serene retreat with beautiful pools and waterfalls.

*Near Southside is a district where Fort Worth’s medical community, local businesses and residents converge. Ongoing restoration and development have shaped a distinct cultural scene, known for its acclaimed restaurants and historic landmarks, with Near Southside, Inc. leading efforts to preserve its rich history.

*Additionally, the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards are just minutes away, giving guests an authentic Texas experience with live music, rodeos and legendary honky-tonks. *Whether you’re looking to two-step at a dance hall or enjoy a night out downtown, Trinity Metro’s Orange Line provides a convenient transportation option with a stop directly in front of the hotel.

Towson said the public reaction to the new look Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Guests and clients have expressed excitement and appreciation for the time, investment and attention to detail that went into transforming this longstanding Fort Worth landmark,” she said.

“From the moment they step through our doors, they are met with a sense of awe, impressed by the re-imagined spaces and experiences now offered.”
