Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Downtown Fort Worth Facebook page reaches 50,000 fans!

Slightly over two years ago Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. entered the social media landscape by founding a Downtown Fort Worth Facebook page.  Downtown Fort Worth supporters from throughout North Texas and around the world have steadily joined the page as fans and have contributed to the online dialogue.  Today, through the work of several successful social media campaigns and two years of thoughtful moderation the DFWI managed Facebook account reached 50,000 fans.
