District 9 Candidate Forum At Historic YWCA On April 16, 2014

Downtown Fort Worth, Inc., the Fort Worth Downtown Neighborhood Alliance and Historic YWCA will conduct a District 9 Candidate Forum, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor Grand Ballroom of the Historic YWCA, 512 West 4th Street. Refreshments and networking opportunities - 5:30-6:00 p.m.
Each candidate will be given the opportunity to introduce themselves and make an opening statement. Following this, the moderators will direct questions previously written on cards by attending citizens, and each candidate will take up to one minute for his/her answer. Candidates will also be allowed one minute for a wrap-up statement. The forum is expected to last approximately 90 minutes. Candidates may stay and speak to individual citizens informally after the event. Moderators of the event will be Gary Cumbie - The Cumbie Consultancy, and Nina Petty - Vice Chancellor for Real Estate and Facilities at Tarrant County College District.
The City Council representative is an important advocate for District 9 and we would like to encourage you to participate in the selection process. The event is free and open to the public.
