Position Summary: This entry-level position develops, coordinates and implements programs and tasks associated with the growth and success of DFWI, a civic organization with a mission to be the catalyst for transforming Downtown into a vibrant place to live, work, shop, visit, and play. DFWI is seeking a highly-motivated professional with skills in social media management, content management, and special events.

Position: Marketing and Projects Manager
Department: Administration, Marketing, Public Improvement District, and TIF
Reports to: Director of Marketing and Membership

Responsibilities:

• Manage and expand social media presence
• Burnett Park programming, fundraising, events, and reservation management
• Serve as liaison to Fort Worth Downtown Neighborhood Alliance
• Content management for www.dfwi.org
• Production of monthly and quarterly publications including but not limited to the DFWI e-newsletter, and In View PID newsletter
• Quarterly meeting event support
• Attend board meetings, DFWI member meetings, FW DNA events, and some afterhours events
• Provide telephone, reception, and other general administrative support as needed
• Complete special projects and other duties as needed

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Social media experience
