Crescent Selling 777 Main Office Tower To Atlanta Firm

Star-Telegram's Sandra Baker reports that the Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate Holdings is selling 777 Main, the 40-story downtown office tower at Seventh and Main streets, to Cousins Properties in Atlanta, one of the nation’s largest publicly traded real estate investment trusts.

Cousins said Monday that it is paying $1.1 billion for the nearly 1-million-square-foot building and Greenway Plaza, a 10-building, 4.4 million-square-foot office complex near Houston’s central business district.
