Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Crane Closure - Commerce Street

On Saturday, September 30th, a one-day crane closure will be taking place downtown for 811 Commerce Street between 7th and 8th Street between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the removal and replacement of equipment. Travel lanes will be completely closed between Houston Street & Throckmorton Street. The traffic control plan is attached and the contractor is notifying stakeholders.
