December 17,2014

Cousins Properties Inc. has confirmed plans to sell the 777 Main office tower in downtown Fort Worth, according to a news release from the Atlanta-based real estate investment firm.

The transaction is expected to close by year’s end, subject to customary closing conditions. The buyer was not identified.

777 Main, previously known as Carter Burgess Plaza, offers 980,000 square feet of Class A office space. It was 75 percent leased as of Sept. 30, 2014. Cousins purchased the building in September 2013 as part of its Crescent Texas acquisition, which also included the Greenway Plaza office complex in Houston.
