Courthouse West Addition Demolition Update

Tarrant County plans to begin demolition of the old Tarrant County Civil Courts Building in the first quarter of 2013. The restoration of the west elevation and grounds of the Tarrant County 1895 Courthouse will begin in 2013 and complete in 2014.

The courthouse grounds site master plan depicting the final recommendations by Art Weinman Architects regarding placement of trees, benches and new Houston Street ADA curb parking for the courthouse will be presented to the Tarrant County Commissioners Court in a few months."
