The Young Women’s Leadership Academy had an exemplary graduating class this year. The Class of 2017 had a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance rate with more than $6 million in scholarships.
Young Women’s Leadership Academy offers girls in grades 6 through 12 engage in a challenging STEAM-focused curriculum that emphasizes Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Career strands include bio-mechanical engineering and integrated digital media and animation. Accelerated coursework, field-based exploration and personalized academic and college counseling support smooth transitions from middle school to high school, and beyond to college and career.
The Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth is responsible for the receipt, management, and expenditure of funds received from donations for the benefit of students, faculty, and staff of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy. The Foundation provides funding for programs that enhance academic achievement, and offer leadership opportunities that promote the success of every student in college, career, and life.
