Chisholm Trail Parkway Update: Portion of Forest Park Boulevard Near I-30 to be Closed This Weekend

Forest Park Boulevard to close Aug. 9-11

The following closure is scheduled on Forest Park Boulevard in Fort Worth:

Closure: North- and southbound Forest Park Boulevard between the westbound Interstate 30 frontage road and the eastbound I-30 frontage road will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11.

Detours:
1. Westbound I-30 to southbound Forest Park Boulevard: Take the University Drive exit south, then travel east on Rosedale Street to Forest Park Boulevard.
2. Eastbound I-30 to northbound Forest Park Boulevard: Take Rosedale Street, turn north on Forest Park Boulevard, turn east on the eastbound I-30 frontage road, north on Summit Avenue, west on the westbound I-30 frontage road to exit north on Forest Park Boulevard.
3. Continuing north on Forest Park Boulevard: Take the I-30 eastbound frontage road and turn north onto Summit Avenue to the I-30 westbound frontage road, enter I-30 westbound and exit Forest Park Boulevard.
4. Northbound Forest Park Boulevard to westbound I-30: Take the eastbound I-30 frontage road and turn north onto Summit Avenue to the I-30 westbound frontage road.
5. Southbound Forest Park Boulevard to continue south: Take Parkview Drive to westbound I-30, exit south on University Drive, then travel east on Rosedale Street to Forest Park Boulevard.
6. Southbound Forest Park Boulevard to eastbound I-30: Take Parkview Drive to westbound I-30, exit Montgomery Street, turn left on Montgomery Street, turn left on the eastbound I-30 frontage road and continue to I-30.
