Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2026, water crews will conduct a fire hydrant leak repair at Summit Avenue and 10th Street. Two northbound lanes on Summit Avenue between Texas Street and 7th Street will be closed during repairs. Work is expected to be completed by the weekend.

Burnett Park Decking

The new deck installed this Fall in Burnett Park has been a hit and funding was approved for an adjacent deck. Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc. manages the park and has contracted with Deckmasters to perform the work necessary to build both decks.  This project should be complete by the end of this week.
