FORT WORTH — Former Mayor Bob Bolen died at his home early Monday morning.

Mr. Bolen, 87, was the city’s longest serving mayor, serving in that post from 1982 to 1991.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s website stated that Mr. Bolen died at 1:15 a.m. at his home on Candlewood Lane.
