We have to wait all the way until November 28 to gobble Thanksgiving dinner this year. If you're not keen on cooking, this list has the best Fort Worth restaurants that are open on the holiday, serving brunch, dinner, and everything in between.
Most require reservations, so don't wait to make your plan.
Then give thanks to someone else for doing the cooking. These restaurants make Thanksgiving prep as easy as taking a seat.
B&B Butchers & Restaurant
The decadent three-course meal will include choice of soup or salad, choice of prime rib or roasted turkey, and four sides — Brussels sprouts with applewood smoked bacon, cranberry sauce, sweet yams, and corn soufflé. Choose from pumpkin pie, pecan pie, or apple crumble for dessert. The price is $68 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under. Dine 11 am-8 pm. 817-737-5212.
Bird Café
It will be chef Brian Olenjack’s first Thanksgiving at the eclectic Sundance Square restaurant, which will open from 11 am to 3 pm. Turkey day specials include smoked turkey with sweet potato hash, gravy and fried eggs, pumpkin brioche French toast, and pumpkin pie parfait. Blue Mesa Southwest Grill
The restaurant’s popular brunch and breakfast buffet will be offered along with roast turkey, glazed ham, and Thanksgiving sides like corncake stuffing, sweet potatoes, apple and kale salad, and cranberry-jalapeño relish. The buffet will be $24 per person and includes champagne and mimosas, and $7 for children 6 to 11 years old — with no mimosas, of course. Blue Mesa will be open 10 am-4 pm. 817-332-6372.
The Capital Grille
The downtown steakhouse will serve its full dinner menu along with roasted turkey with brioche stuffing, French green beans, mashed potatoes, and cranberry-pear chutney. Save room for pumpkin cheesecake. The restaurant will be open 11 am-9 pm. 817-348-9200.
Chef Point Café
The original Watauga location and the new Colleyville location will be open from 11 am to 6 pm for an a la carte menu including lobster bisque, pumpkin soup, oxtail, roasted duck, chicken and waffles, and the traditional turkey dinner with white or brown gravy. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse
In addition to the restaurant’s full dinner menu, patrons will have the option to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving spread for $49, including roasted turkey with apple-sausage stuffing, mashed sweet potatoes and chateau potatoes, green beans, pan gravy, cranberry relish, and choice of butternut squash soup or a harvest salad. Del Frisco’s Grille
Both Sundance Square and Southlake restaurants will offer a limited a la carte menu with entrees like herb and citrus butter roasted turkey and honey Dijon pork tenderloin, along with sides including truffled mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole with pecan oat crumble. Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
The seafood restaurant will branch out to serve the traditional Thanksgiving spread with roasted turkey, brioche-sage stuffing, and all the fixings for $43 per person and $15 per child. For those who wish to abandon tradition in favor of lobster, the restaurant will offer its full menu, as well. Hours are 11 am-8 pm. 817-336-8000.
Live! by Loews
The new hotel will celebrate its first Thanksgiving with a pre-game brunch buffet before the Dallas Cowboys take on the Buffalo Bills at AT&T Stadium next door. Stations will include chilled seafood, charcuterie, prime rib, traditional Thanksgiving favorites, and tailgate staples like sliders, nachos, and wings. Lonesome Dove Western Bistro
Visit the Stockyards fine dining establishment for turkey roulade with andouille stuffing, whipped mashed potatoes, asiago green beans, mushroom demi, and pickled cranberries for $32. Omni Fort Worth Hotel
The luxury downtown hotel will open its second-level banquet event area for a massive brunch buffet, including shrimp and crab claws, omelets made to order, carved saged and orange-brined turkey, pineapple and clove-studded ham, sourdough bowl soups, salads, desserts, and more. Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille
The Grapevine restaurant will open from 11 am to 9 pm to serve its full dinner menu along with a two-course Thanksgiving special, which includes choice of soup or salad and the traditional turkey dinner with potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and cranberry relish. Rainforest Café
For a kid-centric Thanksgiving, visit the Grapevine restaurant for a turkey dinner with all of the traditional sides, including cinnamon honey sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie, in addition to the full menu. But plan for a late evening. The restaurant will only open from 6 to 10 pm. 972-539-5001.
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse
A four-course meal at the downtown Fort Worth steakhouse includes choices from Caesar, steak house salad, seafood gumbo, turkey breast with sausage and herb stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, creamed spinach, green beans, and pumpkin cheesecake with vanilla ice cream. The Sanford House Inn & Conference Center
The Arlington inn will take reservations from 11 am to 3 pm for a three-course meal with lots of choices, including split pea soup, fried osso bucco tortellini, and, for the main course, traditional turkey dinner, beef Wellington, or roasted prime rib. Truluck’s
This Thanksgiving feast starts with a choice of lobster bisque or salad before moving to herb-roasted turkey breast with parmesan mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, giblet gravy, and cranberry-apple compote. Also choose from several family-style sides, and between pecan or pumpkin pie for dessert. The price for adults is $45, and for children 12 and under, iit's $19.
