April 23,2015

The second wave of tickets to the giant slip-n-slide down North Main Street go on sale tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. In addition to ticket sales the live music lineup for PantherFest has also been announced! The festival, which celebrates Fort Worth’s birthday, will showcase Fort Worth-based musicians and bands such as Chris Watson, Charla Corn, Shotgun Friday, Legacy 4, Chucho, Adrian Garza, Ryan Tharp, Two Ton Folk, Cody Culberson and DJ John Pollard. The schedule of music on both the Panther Island Brewing and Main Stages can be found at pantherfest.com.

The festival, produced by TRVA with support from Panther Island Brewing, the City of Fort Worth and the Tarrant Regional Water District, will honor some of our favorite things in Fort Worth by featuring craft beer from Panther Island Brewing, Martin House, Rahr and The Collective Brewing Project; live local music and delicious food from Fort Worth-based restaurants such as Reata, Fred’s Texas Café, Buttons, Mexican Inn, Salsa Limon, Chadra Mezza, Gypsy Scoops, Mamma’s Pizza, Smokey’s and more.

For more information on the festival visit http://pantherfest.com/ and for a great video to see Slide the City in action visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvvoVD_5PHE.

PantherFest featuring Slide the City will take place on June 6 but anyone interested in sliding down the 2,000 foot waterslide is encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as they are expected to sell out.
