Arcadia Coffee Opens Second Location at Sundance Square

November 9,2021

Sure, Sundance Square has a Starbucks, but starting Tuesday, if you head just directly across the street over to the Sundance Courtyard, there's a new locally owned coffee option that hails right from the Near Southside's South Main district.

Arcadia Coffee has softly opened at 120 W. Third St., Ste. 111, in an approximately 800-square-foot space across from the Local Barber of Fort Worth.

The menu carries over most if not all favorites from Arcadia's South Main location. There are standard offerings like lattes, cappuccinos, and Americanos, as well as the signature Cosmic latte — made with cinnamon vanilla syrup, espresso, and oat milk. The seasonal menu currently includes the Pumpkin Patch latte and pumpkin spice chai, along with the popular, Harry Potter-inspired Butterbeer latte, with flavors of butterscotch, vanilla, and caramel.

Though you won't find some of the made-to-order items such as salads and the charcoal-infused Midnight Waffle, the Sundance location offers a small selection of all-vegan baked goods like muffins, coffee cake, and cookies. Baristas also hint that a breakfast sandwich may make its way to the food menu in the near future.

The space itself carries over an eclectic design reminiscent of its South Main counterpart, though with a slightly more art-leaning and bookish vibe. Images taken by Fort Worth photographers like Rambo decorate the walls, and some may even notice portraits of familiar faces like Leon Bridges, Abraham Alexander, and Sarah Ayala.

Arcadia's Sundance location is yet another step-up for the coffee shop, which owner Carrie Collins originally launched in Weatherford before bringing an Airstream trailer to Fort Worth's South Main district, eventually giving rise to the brick-and-mortar on Bryan Avenue.

Soft opening hours for the Sundance shop are Tuesday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m, with a grand opening scheduled for Dec. 1. More information about Arcadia Coffee is available here.
