Hotel are in the works in cities across the U.S. Here’s a closer look at the developments from the West to East Coast:

Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino Reaches Milestone Topping Out of New Tower
The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino has topped out on its third hotel tower in Las Vegas. This will add more than 250,000 sq. ft. of additional hospitality space.

Anchored by seven guestroom floors and adding 495 new rooms to the property’s existing inventory of 629, the property also has an increased street-level presence and a new entrance to the hotel’s casino floor. The property has also begun work on expanding the footprint of its current fitness center.

Life House and Blue Flag to Open New Hotel in Nantucket
Life House revealed its newest hotel today: Life House, Nantucket. Blue Flag Partners, a Boston-based investor and developer, acquired the historic Century House in January, and hired Life House to redesign and operate the hotel. Life House, Nantucket will be the brand’s first hotel to open in the Northeast, with additional forthcoming projects in the region to be revealed soon.

The rooms were designed by Life House’s design team and will be individually styled with local art, vintage artifacts and inspired textures. The property will include a 300-sq.-ft. living room and kitchen and a 675-sq.-ft. garden lounge with daybeds.

Kimpton Expands its Footprint in Texas
Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants will open a boutique hotel in downtown Fort Worth, TX, an adaptive-reuse of the historic XTO Energy Headquarters building. The new Kimpton Hotel is set to open in the spring of 2021 and will mark the third property for the boutique hotel company in Texas, joining Kimpton hotels in Austin and a Dallas project slated to open this summer.

The new Kimpton hotel in Fort Worth will house 232 guestrooms, a signature Italian restaurant, 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, a two-story grand ballroom and a Penthouse Sky Bar with city views. Fort Worth’s Bennet Benner Partners Architects and L.A.-based Forcheilli Glynn interior designers will oversee the project, alongside Kimpton’s Global Senior VP of Design Ave Bradley.

The Roundtree to Open This May in the Hamptons
Set to open its doors just in time for summer, The Roundtree, Amagansett will officially welcome bookings in May in Amagansett, NY. Encompassing the natural beauty of the beach destination, the 15-room boutique hotel celebrates the farm-steading origins of the destination with lasting design inspired by nature in its historic cottages and barn.

Hotel guests can expect two acres of landscaped gardens, event space that can accommodate up to 250 guests. The property is accessible from the Hampton Jitney stop and less than a mile from the Long Island Railroad.
